Many people all over Alaska have gone to boarding schools, and those schools impacted their lives differently than say a public school would. My story proposal would be a collection of stories about peoples experiences with boarding schools, whether its from back in the 60s to the present day. Education in alaska has evolved and with it so has the learning process. Boarding schools change the way that students interact with one another because they are far from home and away from family for eight months out of the year, A lot can happen in those eight months.
