WHAT’S YOUR GREEN DOT?
Idea
To create a fictional story to help Fairbanks reconsider the type of community and environment that they want to live and raise children in. To help create the first idea that violence is not tolerated at all. And to spark the idea that we as bystanders have the power to help and change our society. This story will be based off facts and potential true story, I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable with having their story up and out there if they don’t wish for that.
Sources
A compilation of stories from people from Ted Talks, NPR, and other people who want to share. As well as a compilation from the website sources as information about the program and cause.

Question
How can we as a society allow violence to continue?
How can a college student react to and prevent potentially violent behaviors?
Answered with a fictional story.
Form
Video form, this way the audience will see, hear, feel, and experience the impact of acts of violence. Limits could include the technological inability to fully complete the story in a finished form. Opportunities include the ability to show certain situations and give examples of what theses behaviors look like and what a person can do to stop them. The video format will help in distribution because it’s relatively easy to access and share. Also is not limited to the internet and requires little effort to gain information from.
Benefits include using it for the UAF Green Dot Program and the Green Dot Organization, and even potentially furthering the story into a website form as a mini series to help others to connect and heal together.
Roles
